DebtNext Attends Women in Consumer Finance 2023!

DebtNext Software was a sponsor for insideARM’s Women in Consumer Finance Conference in Palm Springs, California this year. This event was attended by over 400 women in the finance industry, including four from the DebtNext Team. In its fifth year, the conference goals of boosting connections, confidence, and careers of women was a success. DebtNext has sponsored the conference in previous years and is a Diamond Sponsor for the 2023 conference. We sponsored the “Meet me at the Bar” event, which brought together attendees for drinks and some Karaoke.

Our team had the opportunity to attend several workshops throughout the conference, as well as network with mentors, mentees, and visionaries in the financial services industry. Throughout the workshops our team developed valuable resources for decision making, goals, work-life balance, communication, branding, success, and much more. Alicia DeWitt had the pleasure of teaming up with Bekah Luebcke from Crown Asset Management, Danielle Banner from JPMorgan Chase, and Kirsty Smith from Citizens Bank on Team 7, “The Lucky Charms.” It was also great to meet some of the other fellow ladies in Operations, including Charissa Brookley (formerly with Absolute Resolutions Corporation), Cayla-Simone Riggs with Kredit, and Bridget Haller of Stillman Law Office.

There were many opportunities for fun throughout the week in Palm Springs including hiking, golf, and trivia. The keynote speakers were especially inspiring, leaving attendees with a feeling of resilience and success. Although many of the structured activities pushed introverts into extroverted situations, our team felt they had grown through this professionally, as well as personally.

The DebtNext Team was able to leave this conference with new, meaningful connections with other Women in Consumer Finance.
