Software QA Engineer/Analyst

Job Description

DebtNext Software is seeking an outstanding Software Quality Assurance Analyst to help continue to fuel our growth. This position will help ensure the quality of one of the fastest growing software platforms in the recovery management industry. This is a highly visible role, where you will work with product management team, IT, and senior management to help achieve the company’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to design and implement an end-to-end testing solution to facilitate robust regression testing within the core dPlat functionality
  • Leverage knowledge of test engineering, embedded devices, operating systems, and virtualization technology to establish robust software quality assurance
  • Lead the development of a formal QA process, including documentation and policies that are in alignment with our SOC 2 controls
  • Support updates to existing documentation
  • Collaborate with the dPlat product team to have complete comprehension of business solutions to support testing and quality assurance initiatives
  • Provide stakeholders with information relevant to or intended to influence decisions that will positively impact the quality of application development delivery
  • Provide application developers with feedback during reviews or assistance with enhanced unit testing
  • Identify risks, issues, potential defects, or defects in any phase of the project life cycle, managing them through closure

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
  • Ability to create automated tests using Selenium or similar automated testing tool
  • Ability to code automated tests with a strong preference for coding in Python or VB.Net
  • Ability to create test plans, document test cases, and identify areas of improvement
  • Understanding of information security practices (cryptography, privilege separation, etc.)
  • Ability to review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
  • Strong technical writing skills

The Product Marketing Manager will help lead one of the fastest growing software platforms in the recovery management industry, driving positioning, messaging, content creation, and strategic initiatives for the DebtNext Platform and services offerings. This is a highly visible role, where you will work with product management team, IT, and sales to achieve the company’s business goals. You will define the content and marketing requirements – by developing a deep understanding of the industry, the DebtNext Platform and services, and buyer personas, alongside an ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Positioning and Messaging – Develop the strategic messaging that articulates our Platform’s value for our clients.
  • Content Development – Understand our clients and their buying process and develop compelling content (including blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, videos, demos, and other materials) that drives buyer action
  • Demand Creation – Help design and execute programs and events that achieve targeted demand generation outcomes
  • Sales Enablement – Educate the sales team on our market, value proposition, and product capabilities and help develop associated sales tools
  • Competitive and Market Intelligence – Build intelligence on competitive offerings, enhance DebtNext’s positioning and products, and train our sales team on how to distinguish ourselves from competitors

Qualifications

  • Product marketing experience in an enterprise software business
  • Proven experience with value proposition and content creation for technical solutions
  • Experience in End-User Computing/IT infrastructure/IT Operations a plus

Technology Solution Specialist

  • Identify and solve client questions and problems as they pertain to the DebtNext application deployed at client location.
  • Responsible for in-depth testing of client applications throughout the development process
  • Provide application support through telephone and email interaction with clients and Account Managers
  • Assist in the coordination of client application development projects including training sessions for the end-users
  • Interaction with our Application Development T earn in the execution of enhancement projects for our clients

Required skills and experience:

  • Thorough understanding of the Internet and its use as a business tool
  • Ability to understand enterprise software applications
  • Strong business knowledge along with the ability to translate business requirements into specifications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in dealing with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of database management concepts
  • Bachelor of Science in MIS or related field of study
